NS Music Association receives Regional Arts Council grant

A Grand Marais organization is among 12 projects that will receive funding from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. The Council recently awarded grants totaling $40,000 in the ARAC Art Project Grant Program. SMMPA board approves rate increase; local effect not known

The board of directors of Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA) has approved a 4 percent increase in its wholesale electricity rate for its 18 municipal utility members effective Jan. 1, 2010. Neitzke charges dismissed
