Bat population decline continues as expected

Following the pattern observed in neighboring states, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reporting a substantial but expected decline in the number of bats in Minnesota. Local Foundation announces 2019 scholarship for young musicians

The Friends of Brad Memorial Foundation (FOBMF) is pleased to announce its 2019 scholarship opportunity. Since 2011, the foundation has held annual scholarship competitions for students in rural high schools in northeastern Minnesota who plan to pursue music-related studies in college. Grand Portage Port of Entry seizes cocaine

On Saturday, March 16, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Grand Portage Port of Entry seized 20.9 grams of cocaine.
