Semi destroyed by fire in Schroeder

Tofte and Schroeder fire departments were paged at 1:23 p.m. on July 18 to respond to a smoldering semi truck near 7810 West Highway 61 in Schroeder. As requested, representatives of the Cook County Community YMCA (CCCY) came to the Cook County commissioners’ meeting on Tuesday, July 21 to give an update on YMCA finances.
