Friday night of Fisherman’s Picnic, the oldtimers and Cook County High School girls’ softball teams met for the fifth year in a still somewhat new rivalry. A good crowd was on hand at the Rec. 2009 marks the 21st year of the Old Timers fast pitch softball game at Fisherman’s Picnic. The original format of this game featured old timers, i.e. 40 years in age or over from Cook County, playing their counterparts from Lake County.
