On Friday, June 30, the Gunflint Trail Scenic Byway Committee, the Grand Portage Band of Ojibwe, and the Superior National Forest unveiled a new Swamper Lake 3-panel kiosk, located halfway up the Gunflint Trail. 2023 results of the Tofte Trek 10K Wilderness Run

Dave Duede of Eagan, Minnesota, won the Tofte Trek 10K on Tuesday, July 4th, in 38:33, averaging 6:12 per mile on the hilly, somewhat swampy (in places) trails.
