WISE holds online auction for education grants & food programs

The Women’s Initiative for Service and Education (WISE) is responding to the pandemic with an online auction of over 100 items, including services, gift certificates, and merchandise donated by its 55 members. Lions and Lioness team up for educators

Recently the Cook County Lions and Lioness Clubs granted $6,000 to local teachers for education projects and materials. The Lioness Education Grants Committee asked teachers to submit proposals for educational projects and received 22 requests, totalling over $14,000. Clearly, the need is great.
