Long, long ago when PBS Eight staff decided to try a live cooking show they settled on the topic “C” is for Cookie.
That was more than 15 years ago and that series premiere remains the champion for number of recipes received. PBS figured it’s time to do it again.
Be creative! If you have a wacky recipe, send it in. Be generous! If you have lots of great cookie recipes, send them all! Never sent a recipe before? Join the WDSE Cooks
family and give it a try! Other Cook County cooks have done it—featured on past programs has been Paulette Anholm, Donna Lunke, Joan Farnam, Lavonne Anderson, and Lyn Singleton!
The end result will be a wonderful new cookbook full of recipes created by our own Northland friends and neighbors. Plus, you may be selected to make your recipe with host Juli Kellner on the newest WDSE Cooks’ “C” is for Cookie
premiering Saturday, Nov. 28 on PBS channels 8 & 31. Submit your favorite “C” is for Cookie
