The Cook County YMCA reopened its’ doors on June 15, with some provisions during this Phase 1 stage.

If you are a regular lap swimmer, you will have to wait until July 1 to swim.

When you do visit the Y, please bring a facemask, sweat towel, locker lock and water bottles. Water fountains will only be available to fill water bottles.

Facemasks must be worn at all times unless you are performing moderate to vigorous exercise.

At this time the Y staff will not be able to lend out locks or keep your keys or belongings at the Member Service Desk. Advice to all is to keep your personal items to a minimum when attending the Y.

There will be no Kids Club or open gym during Phase 1.

Hours

During the Phase 1 reopening, the Y will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Y will be closed on Sundays.

Reservations can be made through the Cook County YMCA website. If you are not able to make a reservation you can contact the Y to reserve a time slot by calling 218-387-3386 extension 501.

The schedule for the Y can be viewed on the Duluth Area Family YMCA app, Cook County YMCA location.

To ensure all members are able to enjoy the facility, the Y staff asks that you limit your time to 90 minutes a day.

Remember to keep your distance, stay six feet away from others whenever possible and 12 feet away from others while working out.
