YMCA hosts Zenon Dance Company



From Cuba to Duluth, MN, Zenon Dance Company has traveled the world bringing a singular, versatile and virtuosic approach to modern and jazz dance to enthusiastic audiences. One of North America’s premier repertory dance companies, Zenon commissions new works from talented emerging choreographers as well as internationally renowned masters, in order to continually drive the evolution of dance standards in Minnesota. Zenon is thrilled to announce its performance at the Arrowhead Center for the Arts, Friday, April 26 at 7 p.m.

On April 24 the Zenon Dance Company will offer dance classes through the YMCA.

The classes will be held April 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (K-4th grades); 6:30-7:30 p.m. (5th-9th grades), and Thursday, April 25, 5:30-6:30 p.m. (10th-12th grades); and 6:30-7:30 p.m. (adults).

All of the classes will have elements of modern, jazz and creative movement.

The voters of Minnesota through a grant make this activity possible from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
