WTIP Community Radio is inviting all students in 9th through 12th grades who might be interested in taking part in its Youth Radio Project to come to the station on Saturday, December 3 at 6 p.m. for pizza and information about the opportunities available.
Everyone who attends the event will learn more about all the opportunities available, behind the scenes or on-air. That includes writing, producing audio features and commentaries, engineering programs, hosting music and news programs, doing interviews, creating videos, and managing the WTIP youth website.
In addition to great experience, participation in the Youth Radio Project also has other benefits, including a letter of recommendation for college applications, a chance at a small scholarship, and an opportunity for a paid summer internship at WTIP.
Call Deb or Kelly at 387-1070, or e-mail radiodiva@boreal.org for more information or to sign up for the event.
