Just last week Keith Ellison announced an effort to curb hate in Minnesota, and that he would begin the effort in the rural communities. Though he aimed most strongly at ethnic hatred, hate in any form should be included. The June 29 issue of the CCNH had three examples of some different forms:
Daryl Popkes demonstrates hate against knowledge, hate against educated people (far from self proclaimed, John Abraham is a fully credited professor, engineer and climate scientist) and against liberals in general, but I am not sure which is the worst. He misquotes and then tries to demand literal meanings to his misquotes, but his worst offense is his thanks to the liar in chief for creating a climate of tolerance for both hate and lying.
Following Darryl›s screed Tim Pieho chimes in with his imitation of being god›s press secretary to warn us of the consequences of being GLBT, even as they are creations of that very same god. God, it seems, is more wrathful than benevolent, but still somehow bypasses the immorality, idolatry and adultery of the man/child occupying the White House. Gay people are to be hated for just being what they are: regular people like the rest of us.
And last, challenging the ubiquitous Garry Gamble and his ramble, Gordon Salisbury uses 800 some odd words and 21 column inches to tell us how much he hates taxes, government, the government›s capacity to create a more livable community and the people who bring you those services, but mostly an intense hatred for Jeff Cadwell for his very existence, and he wants us to tell our commissioners how badly they acted in hiring such a vile manager in the first place.
To change the tone from hate, I›d like to thank all these people for the entertainment they have provided, I simply can’t take any of them seriously.
And now a follow up opportunity as Greg Gecas adds to the hate scientist dialogue as he claims “new” evidence the sun causes global warming, which is not even new. No papers have refuted the evidence of MMAGW, they simply make observations of what has existed in the past and do not address the rate at which we experience the change today, thy are simply out of context and, I might add, Breitbart does not count either as a publisher of scientific works nor peer review. Dr. Abraham is correct.
