Writer thanks Rep. Nolan for his hard work

Sadly Rep. Nolan this will be the last note due to your leaving as Representative to District 8. After closely watching your last tenure one can only say with a great amount of gratitude “Thank You!”

Watching you work tirelessly, noting your ability to bring monetary help to many, and most importantly noticing your deep sense of caring about the people of your district.

The news at the start of your tenure was full of “Congress Is broken,” “Congress can’t pass anything.” Keeping your eye on your job you went to work. Per a Nolan’s representative statement, “Minnesota’s 8th District has received more than $500 million in federal grants for a wide range of worthwhile projects to improve roads, bridges, airports, streets, parks and public buildings.”

An example of success: it’s been said that you are very proud of helping to secure funds for a road leading to a new hospital in Pine County, along with a multitude of small projects like Cuyuna, Minn. (pop 332) getting all their sewer lines replaced (which they never could have afforded).

Again sir, is the desire to note your ability to work extremely hard in very difficult circumstances along with your deep caring that you have given to all the citizens of District 8. You are definitely not a political animal. Again I want to say with deep gratitude thank you.
