This is to thank the volunteers of the Cook County Search & Rescue (CCSAR) team for help on searching for a family member who had gotten turned around in the dense woods on our property and separated from a companion. After quite some time had passed with no success finding him, a call was made to the Cook County Search and Rescue. Many kind and concerned folks showed up to help and he was located. It was a cool, foggy, rainy day, but we had a good outcome and appreciate the volunteers who were there in case something more serious had happened. Cook County is lucky to have this organization.
