After reading Mr. Mike Ulen’s letter in the News Herald dated June 13 of this year, I have to disagree with his perception of law enforcement. I worked as a deputy sheriff for 26 years and never once found it necessary to use more Force than the incident called for.
It seems to me Mr. Ulen is operating on Gross misinformation and has no idea what he’s talking about. I do and always will support law enforcement. If Mr. Ulen ever finds himself the victim of a crime, heaven forbid, I suggest he call a social worker!
