I love Grand Marais, and I love reading the Cook County News Herald…
…mostly…
But what can possibly be the reason to continue to subject readers of the Cook County News-Herald to the bigoted opinions of Garry Gamble?
The placement of his opinion piece on the second page of the publication seems to almost be an endorsement of the editorial board.
And why is there not a counterpoint argument?
In his latest piece, he refers to the nation’s number one protector of Public Health as Fuhrer Fauci.
Not only is this incredibly disrespectful to Dr. Fauci, an esteemed scientist and kind-hearted man who literally saved hundreds of thousands of lives during the Covid Crisis, but also equally disrespectful to millions of Jewish people who lost their lives to a despicable Nazi Fuhrer who led a regime of hatred and horror.
As a property owner in Grand Marais, and a subscriber to your fine and needed publication, I find Garry Gamble’s opinions a threat to Public Health and a threat to the values we hold dear as Americans.
