“Wolves at Our Door” coming to Sugarloaf Cove

A free educational program on wolves is coming to the area soon. Representatives from the International Wolf Center will be at Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center on June 17 to discuss wolf biology, wolf behavior and perceptions of wolves in an engaging and unbiased program called “Wolves at Our Door.”

The event will be held from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, June 17, at Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center. The nature center is located at 9096 W. Highway 61 in Schroeder.

The program will help attendees better understand the complicated issues surrounding wolves.

“Wolves at Our Door” is funded by the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund.

Founded in 1985, the International Wolf Center is one of the leading authorities for wolf education in the world. The mission of the Center is to advance the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to wildlands and the human role in their future.
