We’re in the thick of winter wonderland. The landscape is dressed in white. The roads are white, snowbanks too. The sky can be white or light gray. Sometimes, even the air is white with flakes! For those of you who also drive white cars, be aware that other drivers may have trouble seeing you in this environment.
White is the ultimate camouflage—animals such as hares and ermine use it to keep from being seen. If you’re motoring in a white shell, please take extra time to make sure that pedestrians and other drivers can see you. As the old saying goes, “safety is no accident!”
