A winter stars tour will be presented at Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center at 7 p.m. on Jan. 14.

Hot beverages and a campfire will be provided, so put on your outdoor winter clothes for a fascinating look at what’s up there in the winter sky. Winter constellations and their lore, star gazing basics, currently visible planets, and unique celestial features like Northern Lights will be the topics. Stargazing will be done outdoors if conditions are right, or indoors via a fabulous projected computer program if the skies are cloudy. Bring a flashlight (covered with a red filter if possible) and plan on spending about an hour or a little longer exploring the night sky.

Sugarloaf Cove is located lakeside off Highway 61 at mile 73.3.
