I am once again confused by Rep. Stauber’s decision making. He is a former police officer, yet apparently, he is uninterested in getting to the root cause of the trauma inflicted on the officers of the United States Capital Police. It baffles me that Rep. Stauber appears ready to forget the danger he and other representatives faced from a mob. Maybe he is scared of what a commission could uncover. Maybe he doesn’t want his spurious claims and actions regarding the election brought up again. Maybe there are things he and the GOP don’t want the American people to find out.
