My vote goes to a senator and governor concerned enough to stop the copper nickel mining in Minnesota by recognizing the threat as real and the mining company promises as false.
My vote goes to a senator and governor ready to tackle the tough financial situation on the Iron Range, by talking to women, men and children of all social classes, hearing their concerns and working out plans good enough to bring realistic hope and inspiration, actively supported by local and state governments.
My vote goes to the senator and governor acknowledging the need to address inequality quickly for the future security of our democracy. This senator and governor understands our economy is only as strong as the most troubled community; recognizes our deepest needs for health, education, financial stability as their priority over the concerns of wealth and power.
We can have, and I want, a thriving population benefiting each other and every social class only through courage, intentional listening and action.
Why would I vote for anyone not representing my values? And there are two senators, U.S. House representative, a Minnesota House representative, an attorney general for Minnesota, and many more this election season.
So for whom will I vote?
