Where’s the evidence?

I have two problems with Garry Gamble’s column of November 14. First, he never identifies the “collectivists left” that he vilifies. Is it the AOC/Bernie Sanders crowd? All Joe Biden voters? Anyone less conservative than Mr. Gamble? In any case, it seems to me that his demonization of those with whom he disagrees is exactly what has poisoned our politics in recent years.

Second, he rails against the misinformation spread, he asserts, by this collectivist left which is “desperate to shut down all forms of truth-telling.” But later he says, in a comment on the election, “the indisputable facts certainly contradict all the media narrative that we have had to live with over the past few years. Like… the present day twisted narrative that in order to protect our democracy a seated president should concede an election that is fraught with fraud… another reality, despite truckloads of evidence, the collectivists left choose to ignore; nothing to see here folks, move on.”

As of Thanksgiving Day, neither Trump’s lawyers, his own Justice Department, nor the election officials in any of the red or blue states have uncovered any substantial fraud. Zero. Nothing. So where are the “truckloads of evidence?” Either Mr. Gamble has it in which case he should share it with the rest of the country, or he needs to apologize to his readers for spreading misinformation himself.
