Jon at Buck’s Hardware Hank reports:

Locally walleyes are sparse. East Twin was giving up sporadic fish in 12 to 16 feet jigging with minnows. South Fowl Lake is another place to check out walleyes – 4 to 8 feet with jigs and minnows. In Seagull and Sag they were much deeper, 35 to 50 feet jigging with minnows. Lake trout in Duncan were being fished in 25 to 40 feet with spoons and minnows. Greenwood is always a good bet; fish in 23 to 35 feet with spoons and minnows or ciscoes. Kemo is another one to try for lakers. People were getting them everywhere using jigs and minnows mostly. Rainbows in Trout Lake were in 12 feet using flies with waxies and jigs and minnows. In Kimball Lake try anywhere from 8 to 18 feet with waxies. A few people caught some nice Rainbows in Birch Lake in about 18 feet using spoons and waxies and minnows.
