Where are the fish biting?

Jon at Buck’s Hardware Hank has this report: Up in Seagull a few are being found around 25 or 30 feet. They’ve been accepting a jig and minnow. Sag is reporting action at about the same depths. Try a jig and minnow here too.

A little action over at Devilfish in 20 to 30 feet, again with a jig and minnow or nightcrawler. Smallies were hitting in about 15 feet of water. If you can make your way to Crocodile Lake the walleyes are hitting good on crawlers and minnows in 25 feet or so.

Rainbows are decent on Kimball and Mink in 15 to 20 feet or so. I hear Muckwa is producing some nice rainbows. Crawlers and spinners should do.

Jerry Skarupa of Secret Lures reports lake trout in Lake Superior are down 120 feet and up. Surface water temperature is from 51-52 degrees. Lake trout are biting good. A handful of salmon are being caught at various depths.
