Where are the fish biting?

Not much is happening on the fishing front in Cook County at this time. A few anglers are finding fish at river mouths, but lake fishing has pretty much come to an end. There is some fun fishing news, however, Trail Center Lodge has announced the winners of its Winter Fishing Contest.

Fishing Contest finishers received a variety of great prizes, ranging from $40 – $100 Holiday gift cards, $20 – $40 Trail Center gift cards, plastic sleds or a pack-in ice fishing shack. Trail Center is closed until May 1. Anyone wishing to pick up their prizes before then should contact Sarah at (218) 388-0528 or e-mail TrailCtr@boreal. org.

Sarah added, “Anyone who entered a fish has a gift certificate waiting for them at Trail Center.” Trail Center Fishing Contest Winners
