Chad Eckes from Minneapolis had a great day on Lake Superior with Captain Darren Peck of Tofte Charters. He caught and released this beautiful 21-pound, 36-inch lake trout on August 17.
Capt. Jerry Skarupa of Secret Lures Charters reports that surface temperatures on the big lake are down to 40-45 degrees with the recent winds we had. Lake trout are up and down. There are very few salmon around.
