Where are the fish biting?

Dick Nelson of Lutsen had a fantastic day of fishing with these two young men. His 11-year-old grandson Carter Albright from Midland, Michigan brought his classmate, Jace Alaniz (left), to Minnesota for a visit. They spent three hours fishing on Lake Superior on August 11 and Jace, who had never fished before had the first chance at “Fish on!” This beautiful redfin lake trout was 38 inches long. It took both boys to lift the big trout for the photo. After the picture the fish was released, but the memories will last forever.
