Where are the fish biting?

If you’re interested in fishing, grab some bait and head up to Ball Club, Kemo, or the Lakes Twin and perhaps something will bite. I understand some fine barracudas are being taken.

Overall the fishing is still pretty darn good wherever you choose to go; the only thing you have to do is get out there. Also, don’t forget your grouse stuff as that season opens this weekend.

Capt. Jerry Skarupa of Secret Lures says the best fishing of the entire season is right now.

There are lots of lake trout and some salmon around in various depths from 80 to 140 feet.
