Jon at Buck’s Hardware was either fishing or working too hard to provide a fishing report this week, so this week’s news is short.
There is however news up at Trail Center Lodge where the Fishing Contest is in its final weeks.
At press time the lake trout competition was heating up. Ed Zlonis had been alone in the lead for almost the entire contest. However, this week Jeff Eliasen also brought in a 27-inch trout. Will the men remain tied or is there another big laker out there to be caught?
