One hundred years of history was celebrated at the Schroeder Town Hall, May 7. Over 200 people came to celebrate and honor MayBelle Skou on her 100th birthday.

Guests came from as far away as Arizona, California, and Texas. It could have been called a family reunion, since over 100 people attending were relatives of MayBelle.

The rest were her friends, who celebrated this centennial with a rousing, “We love you, MayBelle!”

Another 50 years of history was also celebrated at the Schroeder Town Hall in May. Art and Lavonne Anderson celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on May 28 with over 200 people attending. That also was like a family reunion with a lot of relatives from other states and Mexico, as well as friends from the North Shore. Congratulations, Art and Lavonne.

At both parties the Schroeder Town Hall was appropriately decorated. It’s a wonderful place to have a celebration.
