Are you being squeezed for more taxes? Yes. Is the city and the county being squeezed with less tax money? Yes. Is the state and the national government being squeezed with less tax money? Are the wealthy and the multinational corporations getting more and more tax breaks? Are multi-nation corporations citizens of our country and do they express a patriotism we can be proud of? Is there an increasing gap financially between the rick and the poor?
I have heard the Libertarians voice concern that the government is too big and is spending too much money. It is my opinion, this group is squeezing you and our governments at all levels to shrink our government to the point where the real power people can take control. Look at the TPP, 12 nations making an agreement with the world’s wealthiest corporations and financiers. The agreement will make our U.S. Congress a functionary of their wishes, or we will be sued for imaginary losses by these multinational corporations.
When the rich don’t pay taxes and the middle class is poor, who will support our government? OK, you say what has this to do with our money for schools? We need an educated new generation to be the legal minds, inventors and politicians to avoid the dull and docile citizens who could be easily controlled. You may think I am exaggerating and I hope I am; but I will vote for the increase in the money for the schools.
