The News Herald’s editorial ironically titled “Living Under a False Reality” and purportedly about the truth setting you free, claimed the national media has a “twisted narrative that in order to protect our democracy, a seated president should concede an election that…” (Mr. Gamble claims) “is fraught with fraud.”
The November 12 joint statement released by the Elections Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council & The Election Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Executive Committees unequivocally stated: “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.” Republican and Democrat Secretaries of State have backed that assertion. Voter fraud in U.S. elections is exceedingly rare.
Perhaps Mr. Gamble, your Nietzsche quote that “sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed” applies to you?
There are other notable quotes that might apply to the origin of unfounded claims of massive electoral fraud: “The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one,” and it is not truth that matters, but victory.” Both are attributed to Adolf Hitler.
