The Cook County Food Shelf is in need of help once a month on Mondays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Volunteers will be asked to be at the First Congregational Church of Christ and 2nd Street and 3rd Avenue west to distribute food to clients. Volunteers will always be paired with an experienced volunteer.
Again, this is a once-a-month commitment for approximately two hours. If you can’t make that help is also needed to unload the Food Truck on the first Mandy of the month at 11:30 a.m. until about 1 p.m. You will meet some amazing people! Call Gwen at 218-387-9860
We need brown paper bags – lots of them!
