The Banadad Trail – a “classic, classic ski trail.”
The Banadad Trail is the longest wilderness tracked ski trail in the BWCA. Used by over 950 Nordic skiers each season, the Banadad Trail provides a single tracked wilderness experience. Requiring only a Minnesota Ski pass, skiers cross the Laurentian Divide on a gently sloping trail connecting the Lower and Upper Gunflint trail systems. Free parking is available at both east and west trailheads.
