Volleyball team ends season



The Cook County High School volleyball team ended their season with a 3-0 loss to Floodwood.

With the loss the Vikings record is 6-11 and 4-7 in the conference. Floodwood upped its’ record to 22-8.

Although it was clean sweep, the Vikings pressed Floodwood hard in third game, narrowly losing 26-24. The Vikings fell 25-17 in the first game and 25-4 in the second.

Floodwood ended the match with 35 kills, 15 ace serves and 80 digs. No stats were available for the Vikings.

Head coach Marlene Wester will lose five seniors off of this years squad. Those seniors are Makenzie Fairbanks, Hailey Wiele, Katie Peck, Emmalli Myers and Anna Helmerson.
