Violence Prevention Center seeks new logo

The Violence Prevention Center is holding a unique art contest in honor of its 25 years of service to the Cook County area—a new logo needs to be designed to encompass what has been accomplished during those 25 years of aid as well as the years to come.

There will be a cash prize for eyecatching design that encompasses the mission statement and expresses our commitment to safety and dignity for all affected by violence.

Teal and purple are our main colors, however, please feel free to incorporate any and all colors into your design. The design should express our mission, show movement and show the gender neutral nature of our work.

Submissions should be mailed to Violence Prevention Center, P.O. Box 134, Grand Marais, MN 55604, or dropped off at the officeat 21 W. 2nd, Norshor Building, Grand Marais. First prize is $250.

All entries will be used for posters and other promotional materials, and will be considered the property of the VPC and may be used for promotional materials at the discretion of the VPC.
