The Cook County boys’ baseball team traveled to Barnum on May 3 and came away with their first victory of the year.
Strong pitching and timely hitting led the team to a 17-7 victory over the Barnum Bombers. The team’s record is now 1-5. A full report of this game will be in next week’s paper.
