Vikings fastpitch softball team plays Carlton/Wrenshall

The Vikings traveled to Carlton on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, to face the always tough Carlton/Wrenshall team.

Car l ton/ Wrenshal l scored four runs in the first inning off a double by A. Mitchell that drove in two runs and a groundout by H. Ableiter that drove in a run.

Kallie Anderson pitched for the Vikings. Kallie allowed nine hits and nine runs in seven innings, striking out three.

In dominant fashion, the opposing pitcher struck out 17 Vikings.

Kallie Anderson got the lone hit for the Vikings. She was one for three at the plate.

Carlton/Wrenshall finished the game with nine hits with Mitchell going 4-4 at the plate.

Both teams had four errors in the game.
