As several Vikings try race for the basket, Recko Helmerson-Skildum (14) fights through Ely players to get in position to rebound the basketball. Team rebounding will be a key to success for a young Viking basketball team.
Did Denali’s long shot go in? Yep. It hit nothing but net.
During halftime the grade school kids took to the court and provided fans with plenty of good basketball to watch. Above, all eyes are on the loose ball.
There was some really nice shooting from the younger players. This was one of several nice shots that went in. No score was kept but certainly there were bragging rights for the “winning” team.
