The Vikings stopped the Huskies on three plays and the Huskies punted, which was blocked and rolled out at the Viking 35 yard line with about 1:40 to play. And this is where the game turned.
On two successive pass plays from Dorr to McKeever the Vikings picked up about 14 yards. An incomplete pass to McKeever and then a short completion to Jonathan Huskey led to third down.

After the Viking kick-off the Huskies started at their 37 yard line. Staying with their ground game, the Huskies churned out some yardage. On fourth and two, the Huskie sophomore quarterback Caden Kallinen kept the ball and picked up the first down. On the next play Huskie running back James Rauzi ran to the Viking 15. On the next play a Bigfork running back powered to the Vikings’ 8 and then Rauzzi carried to the Vikings’ 2 yard line.
It was first and goal and the game was getting interesting.
Next, Kallinen ran a quarterback keeper and was met immediately by Isiah Deschampe. Isiah stripped the ball from Kallinen and ran 98 yards for a touchdown.
Aram Falter ran for the two-point conversion to make it 30-6.
Following the kickoff the Huskies started at their 41.
On the first play from scrimmage, a handoff, the Huskies fumbled and Devon Premo recovered for the Vikings.
Two Vikings jumped offside on the first down, which sent them back to the 49 yard line. Dorr threw a long pass to McKeever, who made a rare drop that would have gone for a score. The Huskies were off side on the next play and the Vikings returned the favor by going off-side on the next down.
On the next play Adam kept the ball and ran for 13 yards to the Huskies’ 37. A short pass to McKeever was good for a first down. A series of handoffs to Falter led to another Viking first down. At the Bigfork 25 yard line the Vikings’ false started to move it back to the 30 yard line. Falter picked up 13 yards on the next play, taking the ball to the Huskies’ 17.
On the next three plays Falter picked up 12 yards to bring the ball to the opponents’ 8 yard line.
Adam faked a handoff and threw to Porter, who was wide open but couldn’t haul in the pass. On the next play Adam kept the ball and ran for a touchdown. For the two-point conversion try Adam hit Porter on the numbers to make it 38-6.
Both teams substituted young players the last six minutes of the game and the score ended 38-6.
The 4-5 Vikings advanced to play 7-1 Mountain Iron-Buhl Saturday at 2 p.m. One thing to note is that the Vikings have won their last three games and narrowly lost to toprated South Ridge. Go Vikings!
