Track and Field Coach April Wahlstrom took her teams to the 5th annual Matt Kero Invitational held at Duluth Denfeld High School on May 13 and came away happy with her team’s performances.

“We have a young team that is motivated and their hard work is paying off. With each meet their times are quickening and their distances are getting further. It is rare that the kids are not achieving a PR for each meet. This is a nice reward for their efforts.”

Most of the schools at the track meet were much larger than Cook County, and the meet was not broken up into large and small schools.
