Rebel left-handers take win

On Tuesday, September 24 the Vikings took the long bus ride to Moose Lake/Willow River and lost three games to the Rebels.

“Moose Lake had two lefthanded hitters that threw us a little bit. At first we had a hard time adjusting to blocking them. They beat us 25-11 the first game but then we adjusted and played pretty well in the next two games, although we lost those 26-24 and 25-20. We just made a few mental mistakes in those last two games, but we are getting better. The kids are improving,” said Taylor.

After the recent flurry of games the Vikings’ record stands at 7-4. At press time, the team traveled to Carlton on September 26 to face the always-tough Carlton Bulldogs and will travel to Wrenshall on Tuesday, October 1 to play the Wrens.
