Cromwell girls got off to a big lead early and ten-runned the Vikings 11-1 on Tuesday, May 16 in a game played at the Rec Park.
In the third and fourth innings the Viking’s defense was credited with five straight put-outs, three by catch and throw to first and two catches in the outfield.
Katie Peck took the mound for the Vikings and overall pitched well.
There were no stats available for this game.
The Vikings roster is largely freshmen so the team should get stronger in the next few years.
Coming up next is a flurry games before playoffs start at the end of the month. The Vikings faced North Woods at home on Thursday, May 18 and travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl on May 22nd.
