Vander Heiden receives chancellor’s award




Katherine Vander Heiden of Grand Marais has once again been named to the University of Wisconsin-Stout chancellor’s award list. Vander Heiden was recognized on the spring 2015 chancellor’s list.

Vander Heiden is the daughter of Lisa and Donny Sorlie of Grand Marais and Paul and Deb Vander Heiden of Douglas, Wyoming. She is a 2013 graduate of Cook County High School. She is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin’s Polytechnic University, has 45 undergraduate majors and 23 graduate programs, including one doctoral degree. UW-Stout, established in 1891, prides itself on the success of its students in the workplace, with an employment rate at or above 97 percent for recent graduates.
