Join us for a workshop ideal for tennis coaches, instructors, parents, high school and college students, and others who work with students and tennis players of all ages.
In this six-hour interactive session participants will learn to instruct large groups, the game-based approach to coaching, and to run effective team practices — games every tennis coach should know, and the QuickStart Tennis Play format.
Attendees will receive curriculums for teaching tennis and other useful hand-outs. Continuing ed credits are available for teachers who attend.
The training will be held Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cook County public tennis courts. The $5 fee includes lunch.
