USFS hosts “Take a Kid Fishing Day” June 10





“Take a Kid Fishing Day” will again be celebrated in Cook County on June 10. Kids will be encouraged to get out in a boat and enjoy the outdoors.

“Take a Kid Fishing Day” will again be celebrated in Cook County on June 10. Kids will be encouraged to get out in a boat and enjoy the outdoors.

Saturday, June 10, from 9 a.m. to noon the U.S. Forest Service, Cook County Soil & Water, and the Minnesota DNR will be on hand to take kids fishing on Mink Lake. An adult must accompany any child under 12.

Lunch and water will be provided.

There will be a limited supply of life jackets and fishing rods will be available, but please bring your own if you have one.
