Used, older, children’s books available for free will donation

Birch Grove Community school is giving the school library a much needed face-lift.

All of the books have been removed from the shelves while painting takes place. Books that are available date back to when Birch Grove was a part of the traditional district, so the books are vintage. Most still have library cards in them with student signatures.

Are you Birch Grove alumnus? You may be able to find a book that you checked out as a child. All donations will be used toward the library face-lift.

The book sale takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dress To Play Open House at Birch Grove.
