Unhappy with hiring

So, a politician is now the new manager at the Superior National at Lutsen? Just like all politicians, he has absolutely no experience for the job. After this job, if the county engineer’s position opens he could apply and be appointed by another committee to take care of the roads and bridges in the county.

This kind of crap tells me why state governments and the federal government are in the conundrum that we are in. Why isn’t the person with the credentials to do this job being offered the job?

Many people being hired have to go through a probationary period to give the owner the assurance that the job candidate can perform the tasks of the job. The person who is hired for this job should have to prove himself before being offered the final contract to perform.

When the time comes, I’ll be letting the hiring committee know how they messed up on this issue!

Incidentally, Commissioner Bruce Martinson pulled his vote for Fenwick out in the end to save face. He knew that the “good old boys” would prevail without his vote for the hiring.

Why didn’t more candidates apply for the position from throughout the region?
