Deep winter often brings up images of cozy blankets and hibernation, but lots of things are happening under that snow and ice. Join Sugarloaf and DNR naturalists for an evening campfire and lantern-led walk at Sugarloaf Cove at 5 p.m. on January 14. We will talk about the comings and goings of nature during deep winter and enjoy the moonrise over Lake Superior. This event is for all ages. Dress for the weather. This program is in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR)–Scientific and Natural Areas program.
The program will be from 5 to 8 p.m. and is free to the public.
Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center is located lakeside off Highway 61 at mile 73.3. For more information call 218-525-0001 or visit www.sugarloafnorthshore.org.
