UMD announces fall semester dean’s list




The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) has announced the dean’s list for the fall semester 2014. A number of Cook County students have earned dean’s list honors by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Named to the dean’s list from Grand Marais was Rose M. Ingebrigtsen, a sophomore working toward a bachelor’s degree in international studies at the College of Liberal Arts. She is a 2013 graduate of Cook County High School and is the daughter of Dave and Patsy Ingebrigtsen of Grand Marais.

Kyle A. Martinson, a 2013 graduate of Cook County High School, is a sophomore in the Labovitz School of Business and Economy. He is working toward his bachelor’s degree in business management.

Kyle is the son of Bruce and Sheryl Martinson of Schroeder.

Also named to the dean’s list was Sarah L. Deschampe, a freshman at the Labovitz School of Business and Economy in the pre-business program. Sarah is a 2014 graduate of Cook County High School. She is the daughter of Norman and Debbie Deschampe of Grand Portage.
