The U.S. Forest Service will offer more than 140 jobs to students and recent graduates at the 2016 Society of American Foresters Convention Nov. 2-3 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Jobs offered at the event are located on national forests throughout the United States, including 45 positions in the Forest Service’s Eastern Region. Interviews will take place on-site at the convention.
Available positions include foresters, forestry technicians, natural resource managers or biological technicians. Additionally, several non-forestry positions offered will include fisheries and wildlife biologists, and GIS technicians. A listing of specific jobs and duty station locations offered is posted on the Forest Service’s Eastern Region website.
Applications will be accepted online beginning Oct. 3. On-site applications will be accepted at the convention from 2 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2, and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3. Applicants who are unable to attend the convention may apply online at USAJOBS Oct. 3-7. Online applicants are encouraged to visit USAJOBS now to set up profiles, upload resumes and attach supporting documents.
